The Data Wallet is a digital tool for managing, using and sharing information.

Using the Data Wallet to create community, badges and offers

Please get a CheckD Data Wallet and view the help tips in the section. Read the guide on how to use a Data Wallet .

Developing on the Data Wallet

The Data Wallet (such as ) enable users to

  1. Be given a universal ID to their own server to log into applications and store their data for their own use.

  2. Pull data from applications already integrated with their HAT into a data profile in the data wallet,

  3. Use any data attribute from different data profiles to authenticate a badge (badges can be issued by any data wallet user)

  4. View offers associated with the badge (offers are curated by the badge issuer)

  5. Share the data prescribed by the badge to another Data Wallet.

For individuals, sources for a data profile could be health data from EHR providers, banking data from open banking or any data an enterprise is willing to give to their customers. Data could be generated by a certified provider e.g. KYC. Data Profile data is never shared and can only be viewed by the user.

For businesses, sources for the data profiles could be data about their business registration, their bank transactions, their asset data (such as buildings), their investment data, their e-bill of lading, or their emissions data.

The Data Wallet follows a standard template of roles and processes presented below.

Bringing in new data into the Data Wallet

This process is necessary as all data flows must follow Dataswyft data infrastructure techno/legal protocols to ensure data is secure, private, legal and safe for usage.

Sources for a data profile in the data wallet would need to create an application on Dataswyft One () to enable users to bring their data into their PDAs. Once the data is in the PDA, a data profile can be created in the data wallet; and only after the data profile is in the data wallet can badges be issued to use the data, or can the data be used for edge insights.
